Documentary feature film Grant Sheehan: Light, Ghosts & Dreams celebrates avant-garde photographer and publisher Grant Sheehan’s awe-inspiring imagery and trailblazing experimentations. Grant’s soulful photographs, spanning more than four decades, from across New Zealand and the globe, are interwoven with insights into his creative processes, and a dynamic soundtrack by acclaimed film composer Rhian Sheehan (Grant’s son), Tyaan Singh and Grammy Award winner James Kimo West.
From his lifelong obsession with lighthouses and heritage architecture to ground-breaking night photography and recent Artificial Intelligence (AI) explorations, the film transports us to a state of wonder as we glimpse the world around us in new ways, and reflect on our place in the universe, through Grant’s unique lens and artistry.
